How can I make an appointment with the DSU Rep on Base?

How do I register for a class on the Base?

You can register through the DSU office in the Education Building (#261) on Base (Room 302).  The Representative for DSU can be contacted at 302.857.6522 or email DAFB [at] desu.edu for an appointment.

Once I register for my class, do I have to do anything else?

Your second step is to request your TA to pay for the class(es) you are registered to take.  This is how you will obtain payment for your classes. The DAFB Education Office will walk you through this process.

How do I pay for my classes?

If you are an active-duty member or activated Reservist, Tuition Assistance (TA) is available to eligible Airmen. We suggest that you contact DAFB Education Office.

What happens after I request my TA?

The DAFB Education Office will give you the details of the TA process.

When can I request my TA for a class?

Tuition Assistance questions should be directed to the Education Office. The window to request TA begins 45 days from the start of classes until 7 days prior to the start.

Should I get my TA before I register for class?

No. Registering first is required so the student is provided with the correct information to submit for their TA request. Please contact the DSU Representative at 302.857.6522 or DAFB [at] desu.edu.

What happens if my TA is not approved by my Supervisor?

You will have to drop the course. To drop, you will have to visit the DSU office on Base to complete the proper form. Education Building 261 Room 302, 302.857.6522 

What if I don’t want to get my CCAF and I just want to work on a Bachelor degree?

This question comes up often and it requires a conversation that will explain the process clearly as there are options available.  Please contact the Representative for DSU at 302.857.6522 or by email DAFB [at] desu.edu.
