Group Fitness

Hornet Fitness offers cutting-edge fitness classes to the Delaware State University community!  Many different class formats are available with a schedule that spans early morning through late evening. Our certified instructors are top-quality, providing a workout experience that is sure to leave you wanting more! Group Fitness classes include modifications for all fitness levels to ensure that everyone can take a step toward meeting their fitness goals.

Ab Attack

This is a 35 minute class of hardcore abdominal work. It focuses on toning and defining the abs and strengthening the back to improve posture and core strength.

Aquacise

A low to medium impact shallow water class. Promote joint flexibility, range of motion and agility while building cardiovascular endurance and muscular strength.

Yoga

Relax, stretch, and tone muscles in this mixed fitness session designed to enhance your mental, physical, and spiritual fitness.

Hip Hop Beats

This is a high energy class that strengthens your core and leg muscles while moving to today’s modern beats. During this 45 minute class you will do a great cardio workout that is designed to make you sweat.

Hornet cycling

In this innovative cycling class, you will experience a variety of cycling including hill climbs, fast flats, and exhilarating finishes while focusing on speed, power, intensity and technique. A great cardio workout!. Burn up to 600 calories in one class!

Hiit fit

This is the ultimate High Intensity Interval Training class. It’s a 45 minute cardio and strength based class that will dynamically test your fitness. Grab your water, towel and meet us there!

Employee fit

No equipment necessary in this session! You will use your own body weight to challenge yourself in this high intensity cardio/strength interval mix.

Circuit Training

This workout is designed in circuit style stations to sculpt your body into shape with a mix of low intensity cardio, and easy strength training intervals. Light weights are used to sculpt your body while burning fat and toning muscle during this fun workout.
